About Annika Sorenstam
Recognized as the best female golfer of her generation, Annika Sorenstam has had an unprecedented career. Her accomplishments include over 95 worldwide victories, including 72 on the LPGA and 11 major championships, which all culminated with her induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2003. She is also the only female to ever break 60 in an official event, earning her the nickname “Ms. 59.” Since her playing career has winded down, Annika spends a lot of time focusing on her foundation, which provides golf opportunities at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels while teaching young people the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition.
